I've played there a few times, but only the front nine. For a links style course in western PA, it does a very good job. Starting from the tee boxes, here's a quick overview. There are usually 4 sets of tees up, ladies (red), middle (gold-white), and champions (blue). They are in good condition, but after a while, because they aren't rotated that much, they deteriorate, causing a lack of playability. The faiways are absolutely perfect, and aare always cut nice and short. Unlike some courses, there aren't that many divots lying astray, so the fairways, if you hit them, are very rewarding. And then there are the greens. If you'v read any other reviews here, you get the picture. Most of them are two tierd, and are for the most part, smooth. But, because of extremely poor consideration for other golfers, people leave their ball marks unfixed. At any given moment, there's usually about 20 holes in the green. So, make 1, fix 5!!! But, all in all, this is a very nice, challenging, Scottish style course.
Tee em' high, and hit em' far
