I'm just getting back into golf and I've played Callahan about 5-6 times in the last month or so. It's the best value around! About a 20 min drive for a decent course at this price5? You can't beat it. The service was great! Pretty much every time I've just walked in and said "Last Minute Tee Times" and they tell me go to ahead. They've let me on early a few times too because they're fairly slow during the week. The marshall's are always friendly and have had nothing but advice every time they've driven by. As others have already said, if you can't hit the ball fairly straight... I suggest you wear pants! A little outside the rough is about knee high, thick grass. Balls are nearly impossible to find! Other than that, the course is in fairly good shape and looks to be getting better. They seem to be working on it about every time I've played. Hope this is helpful!
