I posted a review of this course last year slightly criticizing the overall condition and the layout of the course. I played this course for the first time this year on May 3rd and can honestly say that the condition is much better and the layout is starting to grow on me.
The fairways were void of divots and scars because its early in the season. The greens were running fast and true (albeit still very tricky). The greenskeeper must have been very angry Thursday morning, too. A couple pin locations were almost impossible.
There are many lay-up shots- even for a short hitter like me, but the realized the strategy behind the design of these holes after playing them for the second time. Also, the GPS was really nice and seemed more accurate than most.
Conclusion: Fun course if you don't mind lay-up tee shots; great rates on weekdays through LMG; cart girl very friendly and made several rounds; condition is much improved from the end of last season; still played a little slow, though.
Oh yeah, we ordered a brat and fries using the on-cart GPS to pick up at the turn- one of the the best I've ever had!
