I am here for: Golf, Business Networking

I am a life-long golfer, and I am an 8 handicap. I'm a retired US Army Nurse?Paralegal. I moved to Colorado last June, and I played in a few LMG events in the Western New York area before we left the area! There is a great and difficult course in Pueblo, Walking Stick, where accuracy is at a premium, gee, what a shock!!! My Significant Other just got transferred back here to Buffalo, so now I'm stuck in the SNOW, AGAIN!!! Oh well, I guess I'll have to fly south for a "Golf Vacation", if she lets me? I have played in 4 LMG events this Summer, and placed first twice, and third twice. I have used the yards I won to my advantage all season. I just found out that my golfing life is over, at least until next year, I hope!! I was diagnosed with 6th Cranial Nerve Palsy, which means that I have double vision out of my right eye. I will attempt to hit the ball with a patch over the eye, but I'm not that optimistic, but I'll give it a try anyway. Well, I guess I was worried about nothing. My eye seems to have gotten much better, and I even played in a couple of LMG tourneys, although not well!! Thanks to everyone who couldn't resist busting on me, but all the support was great! Good luck to all of you guys and gals here on LMG.

I attended U of M, UTSA, GCC

I have worked for US Army, Walking Stick Golf Club, Emerald River C.C.

My favorite golf joke is: Jesus and Moses were playing one day, when they came to a Par 3 that had a 200yard carry over water. They both agreed "No Tricks". Moses used a 3 iron, and put it safely on the green. Jesus stepped up with a 6 iron, and Moses told him, "That's not enough club". Jesus then says, "Arnold Palmer would use a 6 iron, and so will I!" He promptly put his shot into the water. Jesus teed it up again using the same 6 iron. Moses sees this and says, "It's not enough club!!" Jesus then says again, "Arnold would use a 6 iron, and so will I!" Jesus again puts the ball in the water. Jesus again tees it up and proceeds to use the 6 iron, again! Moses just shakes his head, and of course Jesus says, "Arnold Palmer would use it, then so will I" Where Jesus drills it right in the lake. Jesus realizing that this was his last ball, proceeds to walk across the lake to retrieve it. Just then the group behind them walks up to the tee box, and when they see Jesus walking on the water, one of them asks Moses, "Who does he think he is, JESUS CHRIST?" Moses looks at them and says, " No he thinks he's ARNOLD PALMER"!!!
