Played this course Monday Sept 10th (dollar a hole special) and had a super time. When you pull the parking lot they send out a cart to get you and bring you to the club house and set you up. Check in was fast, simple and friendly, they even gave us two coupons for the driving range. The other pair we where supposed to play with linked up with a twosome in front of us (we drove up to the tee on time) but they elected to play with another twosome (no big deal) we caught them and they let us play through on the 1st par three hole. The marshall showed up two mintues later and asked us how the pace of play was going, we then caught up with another foursome at the turn and they let us play through as well, so pace of play for us was very good. The course is new and is a links style with lots of bunkers and fescue, fairways where lush and soft and the greens nice a green (but hard) I found myself rolling off the back several times (even while trying to play it bump and run) So much for my short game! The starter (Cosmo) did warn us about the green and it was a good tip. They have some sensitave area which you aren't supposed to play out of and they ask you not to drive into the fescue however it was apparent that some folks did. They use a flag on the pole to show hole locations Top (back) Middle (middle) low (front) all fairway markers are to the center of the greens, the GPS does give you a good idea of distance and club selection. I liked the course and give it a year or two to mature and it'll be very nice. Its on par with Willow Valley & Lochness Links in its design and value so if you liked those course you'll like this one. I'd play it again.
