Played this course Aug 20th for only the 2nd time and from the blues instead of the whites, and found the course quite tough, I spent so much time in the sand I thought I was at the beach! Due to the greens conditions it's very much a bump and run shot to get on the green, flying shots in might look nice but they won't stick and you'll find yourself off the back or side depending on the bounce. For a John Daly course you can forget the grip it and rip it style, this is a course for those that have great control. There is a short par 4 on the back 9 that just invites you to go for the green two guys in the group went for it and ended up in the water to the right, myself & my partner both stayed left and safe, one par one birdie! #17 & #18 are probably the only straight forward let it rip holes on the course. Enjoyed the day, had fun and will play again next year!
