Played "The Links" yesterday and had a great golfing experience. The weather was fantastic, and the price through LMG of $17.00 was a great value!! The greens had just been aerated, but the LMG site, and the Links site both made us aware of that fact, therefore we made the best of it. The people that staffed the course were very polite and professional, and the gentleman who is the starter is a great guy. As for the course, it was in great shape, the tee boxes are nice, the fairways very well kept, and they actually did a nice job of blowing the leaves off of the course. The signature hole is the 18th, a long par 5 that if, and only if you bomb one off of the tee do you even have the slightest chance of reaching in two. The approach is even more challenging as the green is protected by a pond in front of the green. If you are at all short, you are wet!! And, if you are long enough, but slightly left of the green, you are also wet, as I found out!! Overall a very nice experience, made even better by a great "Red Flag" discount through LMG.
