About Me

"Mike"

This person is a LastMinuteGolfer Representative Married Age: 43 Atlanta 30005 Founder of LastMinuteGolfer.com

I am here for: Golf, Business Networking

I grew up in Upstate New York (Vestal) and played a lot of golf and hockey growing up. I came to Georgia Tech thinking that there was a chance I could play for the GT golf team. Fat chance. Wound up playing hockey for Georgia Tech and graduating with a degree in EE in 1987. Worked for EMS for 12 years and founded LastMinuteGolfer (started as LMTT.com in Atlanta) in 1999. I play less and less golf it seems ever since I started this golf business. Strange how that works. Happy if I can shoot between 78 and 88, having been through three knee surgeries now. Thanks to ALL of you for being LastMinuteGolfers!- ML

I attended Georgia Tech

I have worked for EMS, LastMinuteGolfer

I usually golf on Saturday and Sunday with a bunch of the guys, we paly for a little money, not much but enough to make you competitive, I am a california boy who would never have played as much as I do if I didn't live in Missouri. I love to play different courses, and my dream is to travel the world playing different courses some day before I'm to old.

the reason i dont usually book tee times is because my son is the one that books the tee times. His name is zach and if you look at your records you will see that he is the one that books the times. Maybe you could give me some credit in some way because we always golf together. Thank you

usually I golf by myself at courses that aren't part of lmg. And like Steve, it's spur of the moment. Plus the weekend times are always booked or not reduced enough.

You asked why I haven't used LMTT to book a tee time since signing up: I usually play by myself and on the spur of the moment; most of the offers are not for singles! If they were, I'd use the service. Steve

I love that comment about what kind of balls you use.... I reach my hand in there and it's likely to be a range ball.... lol

Mike, Thank you so much for the unbelievable opportunity to attend the 2008 Masters! A trip to Augusta National is a dream I've always longed for, and one I will forever cherish. As an avid player and dedicated "Last Minute Golfer", I value your service and appreciate all of the efforts made to deliver great golf at an unbeatable price. Speaking as a representative of the entire Western New York golf community, it would be great to see some other area courses join the LMG circuit (e.g. Glen Oak, Links at Ivy Ridge, Diamond Hawk, Sheridan Park, Mystic Pines). If there is anything I can do to help establish these relationships, it would be my pleasure. See you on Sunday in Augusta, Jason

Hi Mike, My husband's Aunt lives in Afton and was a music teacher in the area. We have both retired and live in Florida during the winter months. I sent an email to my son but he lives in California...any chance there soon? I just joined today and look forward to seeing other courses, other than the course next door. I am a fairly new golfer, learned late in life, and can't break 100 yet.

Hello Mike,I have played many rounds through LMG , it's just been booked through friends who I have introduced to LMG, or who told me. At some point I will beat them to the punch and book a time first, not on the computer a lot is hard to beat them. Thanks for the $20 offer and I will try to take advantage of that before the end of the month.

Great site! Met a few local LMG's and we try to hook up occasionally for some rounds. Keep up the excellent work. Oh, and pic #20 is NOT a self portrait (although, haven't we all at some point in our lives?) Eric

Hey Mike, Just joined and am thrilled with the site! Great for pro's or beginners like myself. I am truly a rookie, I play in a league at my job and do not do so well. I am hooked and can really appreciate a website to get more familiar with the game and talk/meet people who maybe help me along the way. Thanks again!

I really love your website. It is so easy to use and very informative. I have signed up two other people in the last week. I play at least once a week in Jacksonville, Fl and recently went to the Master''s with my daughter. I'm not that good but enjoy the game very much. The lowest score I every had was 78 and that was about 10 years ago. I usually shoot about high 80's to 100.

Mike, I am new to LMG due to a referral from a guy I was paired with at a course yesterday. He told me about LMG and here I am. Funny to read your profile as I am from Upstate NY as well (Vestal specifically like you). I went to Seton Catholic Central High School and attended Mercyhurst College in Erie PA. Great site and I look forward to using it often in the near future. I use to live in Atlanta (Buckhead) and really enjoyed playing Cherokee Run. I miss Atlanta golf with all the undulations and elevations...Florida golf is much more flat. Great site, keep up the good work!
