I played this course after a huge storm came through and it was still extremely windy. The course opened up a mere 7 months ago so I was surprised that the course wasn't in worse shape. For the most part it was very clean and the greens were in fantastic shape considering I played less then 12 hours after a pretty bad storm.
I was surprised to see that the Clubhouse/Pro Shop was basically a mobile home, but from what I understand new and more stable facilities are in the works. The staff was very friendly and I didn't have much trouble making conversation about the course both at the beginning and at the turn.
The website calls it a Links style course and thats exactly what it was, I was very much reminded of what I saw while watching the British open and my time playing at Brigantine Beach (NJ) several months ago.
Because of the wind, I definitely had to club down and punch the ball a lot - I believe its called bump and run. I managed not to lose too many balls, however the water hazards here (along with the windy day) are a slicer's nightmare (if you're right handed).
I did like the layout of the course and it was a very challenging course. I had to use just about every club in the bag and my putter was working for me - which was good because the greens were not easy.
I definitely would like to play this course again and cannot wait to see it once the surrounding foilage and fairways fill out more.
