Unfortunately, I'm a relative late comer to golf. I never really got into this great game until I was 18-19 years old and off at college. I played football and baseball throughout High School and two years of College, so there was never much time for golf. It was something to do during the off season for me at first. But the more I played the more I wanted to get better. One day I managed to get myself in the Pros group at a local course…made 6 birdies, shot 68, got hired as a Pro Shop Assistant after the round and I've been in the golf business ever since. Really wish I had the opportunity to play more (who doesn't). I'll have to say one of my goals is to start playing a little more competitive golf from time to time…I'm a firm believer that's the ONLY way to get better. Was it Lee Trevino who said…"the only way to get better at golf is to play against someone better than you…and bet them".

I love it that you write these things for lmtt but it sure does make me miss playing with you guys out at Providence. I will have to call in sick one friday and try to squeeze in a group with you and Stafford.

Where do you sit @ UGA games, I usually sit on alumni side section 126 maybe I'll see you next season?
