I am here for: Golf, Teaching


I have been playing golf for 45+ years and teaching off & on for 10+ years. I joined the C.P.G.A. in 1969 and left in 1971. During that time I learned how to teach and manage the pro shop opperation as a graduate of the C.P.G.A. Business School. I then worked with Dominion Stores for 14 years and managed several stores including the Head Office facility. I jwas 18years with Moen Inc. as a Territory Manager , sales. . I purchased Lambeth Golf Centre, London in 2001and began teaching again. I attended Canadian Golf Teachers Federation School and became a member. I am currently the golf instructor at Flamborough Hills Golf Club. I tried to join the C.P.G. A. but they do not have a simple re-entry program to welcome old past golf professionals back. Our years of experience and knowledge are not appreciated or recognized. They have a different agenda which doesn't include us old guys. Boarderline discrimination. Shame on them. Harvey Penick i'm not, but I follow his lead in my teaching style. He wouldn't be welcome as a member either...even if he was alive. Call me anytime for a game or a lesson.

About My Teaching

Special for LastMinuteGolfers:
25% of my lesson fees go directly to Cerebral Palsy through The Cerebral Palsy Golf Classic which is a tournament I co-chair in the Hamilton area. I also am a Toastmaster and offer classroom seminars to groups who wish to have a readers digest version of the game history, rules, basic technigues and etiquette. Class sizes 10 to 25 and 11/2 to 2 hours long Handouts provided and a certificate of attendance.
